I used this company twice; once to move my belongings into storage, and once to move them out. The first trio of movers were a bit rough with offloading and packing my stuff into the storage space, but the second trio more than made up for this. They understood that there were a lot of handmade and heirloom furniture items, and that most of what I own is now because of sentimental value. The mover-in-charge actually took a look at everything in the storage space, and then put his hand on one item, and said, "Everything here...is important." And then they wrapped everything so well for the long journey north, that nothing broke. Nothing incurred further damage. I was deeply grateful for the level of understanding and respect shown. I highly recommend them.
My entire experience with Let's Get Moving and its service providers has been positive from start to finish. Justin C was the customer service representative who assisted me with my estimate over the phone. He was very professional and made me feel confident about my decision to hire movers. On the day of the move, all 3 movers worked so carefully and efficiently to get my furniture and personal belongings from Toronto to Whitby. I chose them looking at their google reviews and low initial estimates. Moving company I had used last time ( which was and still is my first choice) was not available for my move days.The good part: Movers were friendly. They were careful while moving our stuff, No damages to our stuff or house. We had marked all our boxes, They followed labels and placed all items at their correct spots. They asked relevant questions where our box labels did not make sense to them and then acted accordingly.The bad part:Their sales staff was pretty bad with estimation. I used their storage service, I gave them list of all items we had and their estimate was 1 pod , in final move i was charged for 6 storage pods . ( 6 x the estimate ! And yo not this all stuff had still fit in 1 truck)They movers took insanely long for the move. For comparison - the last time we had moved ( around 2 years ago) with around 10% less stuff , 3 movers completed move in around 5 hours (similar distances ). For let's get moving- 3 movers took more than 10 hours from house to storage and then another 10 hours from storage to house!Movers took less time disassembling furniture and moving that to truck than just putting stuff in their storage. Some things simply didn't add up.The customer care though quick to pick up phone doesn't seem directed towards solving real issues or concerns like wrong estimates and movers taking insanely long.Summary : movers good but final charges are way too high!
From starting the process to finishing move itself, they were responsive, transparent, efficient, and professional. Customer service reps were cheerful and quick, and very clear and helpful. The movers were not just on time, but early, and friendly as well as fast. They wrapped my furniture with great care. I had a team of two and there was one very experienced mover and one rookie. The rookie unfortunately did bend a large poster that should have simply been wrapped together with other paintings. However, everything else was well done and my bed was dismantled and reassembled with shocking speed. I was very impressed with the whole service and because they were super transparent about their fees, the final amount was pretty much what I'd expected (about $20 less than I thought, actually). I will use Let's Get Moving again.
I had a great experience with Let's Get Moving. Setting up the move was surprisingly more convenient than I anticipated. Their customer service person was quite helpful and friendly and he had ready answers/options for all the questions/needs that I brought up during my call. On the day of the move, the moving "champs" Jermaine and Drew were very efficient. I just had to sit back and watch as they moved all my stuff to-and-from the truck to my new place. They were also pleasantly chatty and funny which made the whole moving experience less stressful for me. Lastly, I appreciated the simplicity of the service: they can do whatever preps I don't want to do myself (packing, disassembling/assembling furniture); I just pay for their time. I felt less worried near my moving day because I knew that if I didn't have tine to finish some preps, the movers can just do it for me on the day of the move.

I have moved 4 times in 30 years. The first time I used Firemen Movers was 12 years ago, which was my 3rd move. Their service was exceptional. That is why when I move in March 2022, I called them again. I was moving from a bungalow to a condo. They came to help me pack the day before. Lots to move and as a first time condo resident, I do not know the straight rules of the the elevator reservation. I reserved the elevator from 1 - 5 p.m. and by 5 p.m. we still have half a truck to unload (not that they are slow, but I do have a big unit and locker, hence, I thought we can have the job done and they can extend the use of the elevator). Unfortunately, I was wrong. I was told to stop moving everything. Thank God, the company offered me to put everything remaining in the truck to be put into their warehouse. Due to the tight schedule of the company, the whole month was fully booked. The movers are kind enough to offer to work overtime for me on the following Saturday when I have already reserved the elevator from 9 - 12 for some delivery. The condo elevator was booked by someone else that Saturday, otherwise, they can do it that Saturday too. (The Firemen Movers are closed for Saturdays and Sundays, so this is very nice of them to be flexible). Zack, the supervisor, called me early in the morning around 8.20 a.m. the following Saturday and said they have loaded the truck and was on their way. When my delivery arrived, they even helped the other people to move the items I ordered into my condo.After my move, not even one item is missing or broken. They respect the properties, keep it very clean. All of them are very polite and professional. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a hassle free move.
Alfonso and Brendan were absolutely fantastic in helping us with our move! Within minutes of meeting them we knew we were in great hands.They were thorough and wrapped all our delicate items carefully. Thomas and his crew did an amazing job at not only packing our Uhaul up for the move to Calgary but also with all the packing and prepping the items for transport. Moving service: A-. Administration: D.We were moving within Toronto to a new home. We submitted a quote request to The Six Moving asking for a full-service move, including packing belongings into boxes and disassembly / reassembly of furniture as needed. They gave us a quote that indicated the whole job could be done in an eight-hour day. We were delighted, although also a bit suspicious since other companies had told us it would take two days.We had two phone calls with the office staff (the first was with Melody, I think; the second with Zara) during the days leading up to the move, to make sure we were appropriately prepared. During both calls, they said some things that seemed to indicate they were expecting to move pre-packed boxes, so we said "you do realize that we are expecting you to do most of the packing, right?" They quickly responded that this would not be a problem and the movers would come equipped with packing supplies.We would have liked to have further advice beforehand - the estimate document they sent us said "please ask for a preparation guide if needed," but when we talked by phone, we requested this guide, and they said it didn't exist.So, moving day comes along, the movers show up, they look around... and they say "we signed up for a move job, but this looks like a pack-and-move, and it will take two days."The result was a bunch of sitting around in the morning while waiting for the issue to be resolved. In the end, the company was able to send two extra workers to do the packing. They managed to get the job done in one (rather long) day.Ultimately, we were very glad that they got the job done in one day. And it was competitively priced (in the end with the extra packing labor and dead time, the price was 45% higher than we were originally quoted, but was still below the quotes from two other companies). But the process was more stressful than it should have been.There were some errors - even though we posted multiple copies of a detailed list describing what items were supposed to be moved and what should stay, they moved a few pieces of furniture that they weren't supposed to, and they left behind a few items that should have been moved. But the accuracy rate here was not atypical, and understandable given the hurry.One more minor complaint: the movers ran off with a bunch of our pens, including some that had sentimental value. (This habit was made obvious when one of them dropped a clipboard and a pile of pens spilled out.)Note: This is for a move that happened in May 2022; apologies for our delay in posting this review.
We used Six movers for our office move and they were incredible. Two young woman who, at first, we thought wouldn't be able to handle all the stuff we had but by were we wrong.They were so efficient, fast and friendly. We will be using them exclusively moving forward.

I did a long distance move from Toronto to Peterborough. The two gentleman that came were amazing and fast. They were very polite too! I was so impressed with this moving company. We used Miracle Movers to move us twice. First out of our condo when it sold ahead of our house purchase and then again when we moved in to the house. Both times the people who came were fast and still careful with our stuff. I also very much appreciated that there were a few pieces when we moved in that I wasn’t sure where they should go; and they placed and then replaced stuff to help me decide where items best for. All in all very good service; and reasonable prices.
Misquoted by over double missing hardware to my furniture. I’ve called now three times. The claims dept never called back. When they say step one is an expert evaluation of your items they are lying they will just blame you when it goes wrong and that exactly what they did. And no one ever calls you back not there claims dept and not there customer service. So I was overcharged and don’t have hardware to put my furniture together
This company was terrific. I chose it because of the reviews and they were spot on. Showed up on time, the crew treated my things with respect, wrapped and covered. The crew was a bunch of nice guys, felt comfortable with them. They worked hard. When I tried to step in to help, the response was "no ma'am, we got this." The estimate was within $100 of actual. Moving out of province in 2 years and they will be the only call I make to schedule my move.
