The Toronto City Hall also known as the New City Hall took 4 years to build. It was built on land that was once housed by Toronto's first Chinatown. It looks futuristic, so it appeared in several movies such as Resident Evil.Our City Hall consists of 2 curve shaped office towers with one of those 2 towers higher than the other by 7 storeys high. At the centre of it is a dome shaped roof. From the sky looking down, it looks like "an unblinking eye."Right in front is the Nathan Phillips Square, an open place where one can enjoy many free public events like New Year's Eve celebrations, Canada Day's Fireworks, Nuit Blanche, etc. There is a non wading pool off to one side that is converted into a skating rink during the Winter.One can find the famous LED TORONTO sign here. It was temporarily installed for the 2015 Pan Am Games, because of its popularity amongst the Tourists and the Locals, a permanent one was unveiled to the City in September 2020 during the pandemic. It started off with the City's name, TORONTO, then a 🍁 leaf was added to it in December 2016.There is a paid underground parking available at this site accessible off Bay Street. There is a public library located inside City Hall with washroom facilities. You can get here too through the underground PATH walking system. The Queen Subway Station is within walking distance to this location, and so is the famous multilevel Eaton Center Mall.The last 2 photos were taken this month during one of those cultural food venues. The rest of the photos were taken earlier this year in April 2022.

Nathan Phillips Square is a busy spot! Very diverse and an absolutely one of the best spots to people watch! They've got lots to offer a library a cafe if you wanna get married...well it's here! Have you seen this place lately? If not, please go soon. It's becoming alive again. The pandemic dampened the activities and festivals, but it was wonderful to visit this past weekend. We even caught a dance group right there in the Square and it was great. The dancers were very colorful and talented. Great place to take photos.

It's always good to mark your visit, or visit from friends and relatives, with pictures that definitely stamp the place and occasion, and Nathan Philips square is that place for Toronto. That sign is great to take pictures with.Your visit to Canada's largest city will be a memorable one when you look back and see yourself in those pictures with the 7 letter word that changes it's colors and styles, depending on the events, occasions, and time of year, in one of the best destinations in North America that is Toronto!Only reason I rated it 4 stars is that the public washrooms needs more regular cleaning daily, as lots of people use them, being a tourist destination. When we went there, it wasn't pleasant at all, people from all walks of life, including homeless people (unfortunately, a fact of life that seems to happen everywhere, not just here, and they have every right to use these washrooms as anybody else, as these are the only ones likely accessible to them).The city should look at that, as tourism and visitors generate revenue for the city - (city officials please if you see this, take note...). That was one of the turn-off point since the washroom was a mess. Another area is the stairwell and walkways to the public parking underground that looked like it could use some cleanup and upgrade. Otherwise the place is great, with people respecting social distancing,and even wait for their turns to take pictures, even offer to take pictures of others.Oh, and may I add that during winter time, that middle area with fountains is frozen so people can skate if they wish to. A well thought out idea, kudos to the planners. Again, a must see area in downtown Toronto.

Great place for biking or skating. Spacious and cool spot. Lots of spots to sit and rest. Washrooms available, Snack bar also available. Stage for shows installed and ready for use. Good security layout to ensure safety. All seats well spaced from each other, ensuring the social distancing practices.

Amazing Day Spent With Kids!Wasn’t as crowded as expected but was busy enough.Plenty of hands on, interactive displays for kids and adults.Tons of spots to eat if you planned ahead and packed a lunch.Greeters outside were very kind and very helpful with navigating us towards the entrance, the bridge is currently under construction so a shuttle bus was provided in order to take you from one end of the museum to the other at no additional charge.

Perfect for kids... Surley a day they would remember in their lives..They have made it as interactive as possible so that the kids could soak in all the information while having fun. Not a lot for the adults to marvel at from a 'science center' perspective. Staff is warm and friendly. 3-4 good restaurants inside the museum to grab a bite halfway through the tour. Generally should not take more than 3 hours for the entire experience. Also, avoid weekends! Way too crowded.

Science experiments on the go .. beautifully presented concepts and so so many things to explore . The ground floor had many sections where there are properties of magnets , fulcrum, pulley and so so much of physics with reasoning. The biology section has such pretty demonstable skeletons . The second floor is more of Watch and learn. The fourth floor has the kids of the toddler section which was so well maintained and equipped. . There are pretend castles and. play area . The planetarium lies on the same floor where a few cool display are present . I feel it’s a must visit .. my 5 year old loved it ❤️❤️

It was bigger than I expected, got there just before 1 and left around 5. It was summer time so many kids and families r there but it was a wholesome environment. The staffs were super friendly and quick to inform, we felt welcomed right away.The only thing inconvenience to travel and there were a couple of things are not working properly but it doesn’t affect the experience cause they have a lot of variety and it was worth to spend the day. I thought section 5 in educating inequality was particularly powerful.

The construction that is currently underway at the Science Centre means Shuttle Buses are constantly transporting patrons between the front door where you gain access to the Omnimax Theatre and the rear entrance where patrons access the interactive exhibits. Our small party of four, two adults and two younger children (8 & 5 years) spent 2 1/2 hours on the first floor of exhibits. The kids had a great time. We also enjoyed the film "Into the Wild". This is a great place for families of all ages. Highly recommend it. The only downside is the use of the shuttles.But the kids enjoyed those rides too! So hardly a negative!

We are visitors from BC so we were hoping the Ontario Science Centre would be like our own Science World in Vancouver, but bigger. Boy were we wrong; it's bigger, but not on par in quality or educational value in any way. We went on a Friday. The entire place was overrun by kids on summer camp treating the place like a jungle gym. My 4 year old would be at an interactive display and get physically pushed off by summer camp kids who had absolutely no manners. The summer camp leaders were doing their best, I'm sure, but they were clearly outnumbered. It was so difficult to hear anything when it was so loud in there. So many things were not working or broken; they clearly do not maintain this place. The staff were barely seen. When we did see them, they were just fiddling around by themselves, not interacting or talking to anyone. I wouldn't be surprised if they were also overwhelmed by the craziness of the summer camp kids. The fish tanks were disgusting. It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. The entire place just needs better maintenance and upkeep. The centre was so outdated. We were so disappointed. Now we know to just stick with Vancouver's Science World. Even when it's busy, it's still fun, educational, and manageable (as in we could hear each other). One thing we did like at the Ontario Science Centre was how they had a shuttle to take you from the parking lot to the rear entrance, with no wait. That was very much appreciated and very organized! That's the only plus...

Went to the science centre with the kids and they loved it. All the displays are engaging for different age groups so there's always something for everyone. My kids especially love the kids play area. I signed up for their summer camp for one week and my kids had a blast (6 and 8 yr old).

The bridge is under repairs... They're shuttling folks from the front to the back. Super efficient. Nice facilities! Lots of great interactive sites. Highly recommend! The kids were super tired from the entire day.

A great place for children and teens. Some of the exhibits are older, but they always add new things. The entire facility is in multiple levels, but elevators make it accessible to wheelchairs or strollers. They have a dedicated area to children under 8 as well.Construction is scheduled to start on the bridge, so a shuttle bus to the rear entrance is currently in effect

We weren't sure what to do over the long weekend so we tried the OSC. We have a boy just under two and he had a blast. So many exhibits to see and creative spaces to explore. He was over the moon with excitement every time we entered a new section. We spent two hours there, had lunch and then home. I don't think we even covered one-sixth of the exhibits. It was a great and affordable experience, will definitely go back soon.

Fun place. Not all the activities are great but kids can enjoy and run around. Gives lot of chances for parents to engage kids in learning.Planetary membership good for 2 adults and kids. Gives 2 parking passes as well. Nice deal.Probably will visit here 2-3 times a year

Our kids loved Science World - lots of great exhibits and fun for the whole family. We really enjoyed it! The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Budget about 2hrs there and bring your own snacks as there aren't that much food options. If you're travelling from another province and have a science centre membership already make sure you take advantage of the reciprocal science centre memberships. We have a membership with Ontario Science Centre and was able to get free admission!

Great fun for anyone! Families with children, couples, adults, just anyone curious about science and wanting an interactive experience.It's a popular spot to visit among families with children. Children love that they can interact and play with certain aspects of the exhibits, not just look. It's a great way for them to use their sensory motor skills.The exhibits are made so well. Intrigues adults, not just children. It's also very informative so you can learn lots while you're here.Their valley restaurant is open to limited capacity and have designated dining areas.

Some of the advantages that Wonderland gives for getting a Seasons pass are very misleading. For example, you do not gain access to the rides at 9:00...you get into the park and get to line up inside the park till 10 am, when the rides open. Many of the rides are closed and I've never received a notification (One day we went and 4 rides we planned on visiting were all closed). We've been to park 4 times already and have had great financial value in the amount times that we've been....but since many rides are closed, you don't get to ride that often. The wait times are quite substantial and the money you can spend inside the park for food and drinks are outrageous. $15 for a hotdog. Leave the park, bring a picnic lunch or buy from around the area, then reenter...it's much cheaper. If you're going to splash works, be prepared to get a tiny locker for your phone, keys, and wallets/purses for 15 (tiny) 25 (medium) 35 (supposedly family size). A large will not hold a family of 6's clothes and shoes. Leave your shoes in the car and wear flip flops in....but your feet are going to kill you walking all the way from the car to Splash works and walking around all day... It's at the back of the park, on the left.The new experience mad it fun for visit one... I doubt we will be paying for a season pass for next year.

It's a place for the thrill experience, the rides are the best ones, they also follows all the safety precautions, all safety equipment and lock are checked twice for concern, staff is friendly.Great photogenic place, small children will have a ball of a time even the older people also enjoy the ambience.Huge variety of rides to go on, no one's go out disappointed.But the only demerit is the good is very expensive nothing is less then 10$.So plan accordingly the budget to spend on food.Food also have variety of option to grab and goLastly enjoy the rides with no fear, just enjoy the place.

Canada's Wonderland's motto seems to be, "we could do better... But we won't." There appears to be a general lack of care for the customer experience. While waiting in line, I observed the attendants letting fast pass people fill the cars in every ride. I have no problem with fast pass, however the riders should be evenly split between fast pass and normal users. It seems unfair that they can literally walk onto a ride while the rest of us have been waiting an hour. I don't think it's unreasonable that they wait 5-10 minutes.I observed all sorts of line jumping, despite the numerous signs forbidding it. I did not see any security staff or line attendants responding to blatant line jumpers.The mass stampede to enter the park was insane - even people who live in Toronto said they haven't seen it that busy in years. But it was poorly handled, and could have been so much more efficient. We waited 1.5 hours just to enter because of the terrible organization.The rides themselves are fun, but we waited 45-75 minutes for EACH ONE.

A few years ago, this park was great. Friendly staff, decent prices, although higher than normal but not to make you bankrupt. $6 for water? That’s worse than Vegas. They don’t take cash? Wow! Welcome to a park that entertains million and they don’t take cash.Have fun non Canadians. Please don’t judge us by this.

I absolutely do not regret this trip. All the rides, games and food are very worthwhile. Yes, the lines for the rides are long but they are worth the wait. (As a side note, there are metal detectors we have to walk through before entering and they will confiscate any canned drinks and even some metal bottles). At night, there's a water and light show, and nice music, the trees are decorated with lights and everything is beautiful (after the rides close). Have fun everyone, you definitely will 😁

A great place to spend some fun time. We took seasonal passes which are luckily valid for the remaining of this year(2021) and also for all 2022, which is quite great! There are several rides to enjoy but the roller-coasters are my favorite. For some, the wait times were around an hour, but definitely worthy! Time warp was a surprise, I have never seen or experienced such a ride before, it was unique. Need to visit again to try other activities.

Canada's wonderland has always been a favourite my whole life. Its perfect for ages 3-18 and any adult who's looking for some fun! Even though covid has impacted everything, Wonderland has done its very best on keeping you and your family safe! Even though lines can seem longer and masks can be a challenge, you still get that same thrill/excitement when you get to ride your favourite roller-coasters! Even though there has been changes, it's still as enjoyable as it used to be. Would definitely recommend going here!!

This place is amazing! This is the place that you should go if you are feeling down. I personally love this place, and I’m sure younger or older children will love it!Canada’s Wonderland has a great selection of kid’s rides, including two lands dedicated to that. I remember my family LOVED going on the kid’s rides, that once we just went to experience every single children-themed ride. They are amazing!This park also has a great selection of teen rides, which are the roller coaster. There are 16 roller coasters in total, and they are all so incredible! The biggest height requirement in the park is 54 inches, which is the height of an average eleven-year old. Of course, there are some rides that may be a little too high, but coming from a person who is afraid of heights, my fear doesn’t strike me on any one of these rides!Even though the prices for the food are a bit high, there are many restaurants about 700 metres from the entrance, and they are all so delicious! My family usually gets a pizza close by after having half a day in the park, and then just entering the park again after the pizza.I have a feeling it is about to open, and when it does, my family will be the first people to rush into the park!

Well worth the time and reasonable cost. Impressive collections as well as a few fun, interactive experiences. I was even impressed and entertained for over 3 hrs as not much of a hockey fan, but the joy of watching my hubby be like a kid on Christmas morning, was the best part. Don't miss out on going upstairs to take a pic with the Stanley Cup, at only $10 it's a fun and affordable souvenir and moment for any hockey fan.

This is truly a Hockey Palace. You can really tell that they want people to explore all the things because its HUGE. I don't think I manage to explore everything in 4 hours. Plus the 9/99 exhibit is a must see while it's still their. There is many fun activity for the whole family to enjoy together. A must see when coming To Toronto.

Oh it was an amazing experience. Walking around seeing all the great scenes and items hanging on display. The shot the puck and shootout were fun for the family. The main item was walking up the stairs into the great Hall. The presentation of the trophies and all the hall of fame walls was amazing. The staff members that took my family picture with the cup was great to talk to, as he even knew the Windsor area where we were from. He was talking like he still lives there and how he went to University and watched lots of hockey. It was a great way to experience everything.

LOTS of items on display, interactive activities (movies, Sportscentre desk, shoot on the goalie or BE the goalie), and of course the trophies. Respectfully displayed. We spent 4 hours working our way through because we were reading a lot of the placards and watched the video about Gordie Howe and Wayne Gretzky. We didn't want to miss anything. If you're a casual fan wanting to learn the history of the game, or are a big fan wanting to see artifacts of the game you love, it's a must see.

Fascinating experience! Well worth the trip!If you're a die hard hockey fan you'll feel like a little kid again, if you're a causal hockey fan or not a fan at all, the historical pieces might be of interest!Overall had a great time and taking a photo with the Stanley Cup was a plus!

What an amazing Hall of Fame!! Great items and elements to see. Many interactive areas for kids and adults to engage in hockey. Amazing artifacts collected from the biggest names in the sport. The Howe/Gretzky 9 & 99 exhibit is awesome! The 3-D movie is really well made, well acted, and well-produced, a must see! Worth every Canadian penny.

Such an interesting place! The directions to get there and to navigate within the facility are abysmal. Pleasantly surprised by this museum that pays homage to a great Canadian sport. This building is fondly called "The Cathedral of Hockey". Wonderful displays and information. Has hands-on interactive activities too - for adults and kids alike. But the interactive goalie exhibit is temporarily closed during the pandemic. Best of all was getting up close to the Stanley Cup.

The Toronto Zoo is a awesome family experience.This was our first time at the Toronto Zoo and we loved it.Besides the great exhibition... seeing my son so happy and enjoying, it makes it just wonderful and priceless.Everything is great and we'll maintained. We learned a lot as well.Lots of walking so come prepared with a good stroller if needed, comfy shoes and lots of liquids/refreshments.They do have lots of vending points with great options.Unfortunately I didn't catch her name, but I went for an adult refreshment, and the lady assisting there was super polite, friendly and helpful.... besides funny, she made an awesome joke of my beer selection. Kudos to her and for having so wonderful staff.Fully recommended and is a must family experience 😉😁😎🤟🏻🇨🇦🍁

Always love the zoo. Great exercise, good company. Try to go at least once a year. I am from out of town. Better time to go would be the fall, cooler out, animals seem to be out and about not like in summer when they are trying to find shade and hard to see. During the week when kids go back to school it is less busy not so crowded. One of my favourite places to go.

Huge I mean huge zoo. Plan a day trip. Large variety of animals and species. They are famous for being the only zoo in the world that have white African lions in captivity . They are stunning. The zoo is well kept the animals have large spaces to roam. It’s a very family oriented Zoo they have all kind of activities going on (check their website) and they have a large parking and dedicated bus stops every 30 min to bring you to the nearest subway station def worth visitingThere will be a lot of walkingSo It’s Very important that you wear comfortable cloths and shoes and you bring snacks and water..

Nice zoo! Good size--can spend a half day or full day depending on how much time you want to spend at the exhibits. Everything seemed clean and well maintained and most of the animals had lots of room to roam around in their enclosures. Some kid specific sections which were nicely done. Tram ride was extra--someone interesting but not sure it was worth the extra money. Good visit.

Great Zoo, wide variety of animals and sites to visit. Lots to do and to see. Highly recommended if you're visiting Toronto just make sure you planned a full day and show up early. Just wish they had some sort of hotel or simply rooms on site so you can take your time visit and that would of been a wonderful addition. Aside from that, the place is clean and the animals are well kept and maintained. Loved it and definitely will go back👌

The Toronto Zoo is amazing. You can tell that their first priority is the animals, and it's shown through their care and attention to detail.I went while the was an outbreak of avian flu so most birds were in areas inaccessible to the public for the birds' safety, but with how big the zoo is there was no shortage of animals to see.I'm happy to spend the reasonable cost of admission to help in the conservation efforts. I highly recommend that everyone visits at least once!

The zoo is a beautiful place to walk around and enjoy both the animals and the natural scenery. There are so many exhibits and animals that it is hard to cover everything in one day. We purchased a membership and love it! My son loves seeing the animals and walking around. We usually bring our own food but there are a variety of food options, but not all are open throughout the year. We find the best time to go is first thing in the morning before the crowds.

Love this place. Some of the animals areas were a little to small for that type of animal which I didn't like. They have a lot of land they could do more with it. Thought they could reduce their price a bit sense a lot was not open. Their gift shop very expensive but they have a lot of animals to take care of. Well maintained animals look comfortable.

The jellyfish show at this aquarium is mesmerizing. I’d really like to know how they engineered this exhibit. Do yourself a favor and come check it out. In the “tunnel underwater” exhibit you will have sharks, rays, and fish passing over you. The anemone exhibits burst with a gorgeous array of color. This aquarium also makes an exhibit of its massive water filtration system. Despite Ripley’s not being as massive as the Georgia Aquarium, it is still beautifully curated and very worthwhile visiting.

Absolutely stunning place if you're looking for an aquarium. Don't be surprised if you're not impressed when you're not interested in aquatic life.Perfect for children up into the their teens. Even adults like myself can enjoy the immerse aquatic adventure.Tons to do, the aquarium includes a moving floor which transports your through a long tank-tunnel with awesome salt water fish. I counted severally sharks, sea turtles, very large fish and other fun salt water wonders. I highly recommend to anyone visiting downtown from outside the Toronto area.Only reason I gave three stars was the price. It seems a little high for the allotted time slot and what you get from the adult pass.

What a great experience!I went with a group of adults and we had just the best time. The actual walk through can be done in about 30 minutes, so be sure to take your time and enjoy the sights and things to see. I have been before with my kids and we had a great time as well but I would suggest that this is a place for slightly older children (6 years and up) as some of the displays and stuff can be a little spooky in the darker parts of the aquarium. Overall the place was clean, and even with a large number of guests there was still enough room to comfortably walk around, stop and sight see without being pushed by a crowd. This is a MUST SEE attraction, so just get there already!

As you would expect, this place is a paradise. If you plan your trip, I would recommend taking time to read up on your some of the animals like the giant octopus named “spaghetti”. But be sure not to use flash photography!The staff at the aquarium was fabulous. Particularly Danielle, who was overseeing the petting tanks. She was eager to teach us/answer questions and it was obvious that she has a deep love and appreciation for the animals. By discussing some of the behind-the-scenes details, I left feeling incredibly confident that the animals are well loved and taken care of. Thank you Danielle for making our visit even more enjoyable.

Great experience. I was walking around Toronto and had a few hours to kill so I decided to walk into Ripley's aquarium and I was pleasantly surprised. They have a great section of fish that are well taken care of. Their exhibits are nice and well taken care of. Their shall tank is impressive and beautiful. It was first time that I had seen a hammerhead shark in person. It was also a first for a Goliath grouper. Overall, it was a great experience and it is a must visit for any traveler.

The best aquarium that we have visited till date. You can spend hours here and still feel like coming back again. Great place for all ages. Need less to say, the kids had a blast. The walk under the water tank is a wonderful experience, with the sharks swimming all around. Will definitely visit again !!

It's one of the most famous parks in Toronto. You can find the famous garden with a Maple Leaf Canadian shape. There are washrooms but not so near it one of others. I recommend plan the visitation if you go with kids because you can walk a lot.There is a good kids playground in the North of the park, near the boundary located next subway station.It's a good park to contemplation. If you like trails there are many of them.Oh I recommend bring with you repellent and water bottle.

It may be the best park in Toronto! It's suitable for hiking or walking dogs in summer, and there are many facilities and trails to choose from. There are a zoo, nature trails, and a dog walks area, a swimming pool, a tennis court, playgrounds, and many trees! There are a lot of parking spaces here and many shared bicycles to rent. It is also convenient to have a subway station next to the park. We visited this park for the first time and had a great afternoon here.

Beautiful setting for an outdoor concert of wonderful music. Great sound system. Very friendly volunteer stuff. Be sure to take a blanket to cover the ground as it’s not very well-maintained. Would be nice if wood chips were put down on the path to make it a little bit more appealing. Canada stage always does wonderful productions. Very reasonable pay what you want pricing.

I have loved this park since my dad used to take me as a kid. Now I take my kids whenever I can. The park here is amazing, my kids love playing on it. The animals here are what really get me to go. It’s nice to be able to walk through their little zoo area free of charge. This park is one of the best in Toronto for sure.

High Park is a (very) large park in a fairly urban area of the city. Its vastness makes it appealing to a large crowd of people, as there are many things to do here. Fishing, bird spotting, soccer, picnics, sledding, Cherry Blossom viewing, running, biking. This park is great for all of those things and more. I’m not a fan of how disorganized the place is though, and I’m especially not a fan of the road that goes through most of the park. Why is it necessary for this road to be open to cars? Let cyclists and pedestrians enjoy it. There is a lot of parking on the Bloor Street entrance, where cars access should end. This wouldn’t be such an issue if this park wasn’t so large or if there were better options for pedestrians to get to different areas. Unfortunately, that is not the case, and pedestrians and cyclists are forced to share the path with cars. I do appreciate the frequent speed bumps, but traffic calming is not a real solution. Anyways, besides the traffic routing issue, and the disorganized nature (which might be inevitable given the size of this park), this place is pretty great.

Vast forested park that is beautifully landscaped in many areas with nice walking paths with lovely vistas. Many walking trails throughout the treed areas with excellent fenced dog walking spaces. An incredible park to enjoy all year long. Great zoo and nice playgrounds. Perfect for: hiking, swimming, tennis, picnics, Shakespeare in the Park, biking, fishing, walking, dogs, bird watching, naps, group gatherings, baseball, cherry blossoms, skating, hockey, soccer. Restaurant, when open, has a good all day breakfast with plenty of seating indoor and out as well as ample parking.

What a memorable experience at High Park! High Park has got it all in terms of ideal things a park should ordinarily have. All facilities within the park look so maintained and there are several fun activities you can engage in that can suit both kids and adults. The hills, zoo and ocean view gives it a yet another beautiful scenery anyone would adore greatly.If you're looking for fun and relaxation either as an individual, family or a group, then I would recommend High Park. Beautifully preserved historic market that I always enjoy visiting. Always astounded at the variety in the stalls and food in such a small space! You will find all kinds of stuff here to suit every palette and taste. All the vendors are friendly and happy for the business. All their prices are reasonable as well. It's a big indoor meat and produce market. Everything is fresh and you have high quality meat cuts, fruits and vegetables of every kind, fresh lactose based products and even a wide wine selection for every palette. There is also a small souvenir shop inside.There are randomly placed seating areas or tables where you can eat standing up.The immediate outside area is very nice with other shops and businesses in beautiful buildings and there is an outdoor seating area running along side of the market.If I were a local, I'd try to do my shopping here, without a doubt.

I think that every visitor to Toronto should visit the market. There are all types of small shops including, clothes from South America, jewelry and a few other things downstairs. Don't hesitate to visit all the eateries, etc. There is a lot to eat. You can find some of the best maple syrup here at a very reasonable price. The tourist buses stop here. Public transportation is almost at its doorstep. Don't forget that you can find one of the biggest collections of sweets at Dominoes downstairs. You can purchase prepared food, drinks, pastries and fruits to take with you or eat here. There is a patio with lots of tables and benches. The prepared food is cheaper than most places in this restaurant district. You must walk right through the market both upstairs and downstairs because some of the eateries are tucked away. Although I wrote about eating here, don't forget that it is a market, so don't expect the same standard as a restaurant when coming to seating arrangements and service. Enjoy.

This Market will always have a special place in my heart. In my eyes it's one of the best places to grab the freshest ingredients for your dishes downtown, uptown, any dang town. The amount of warm hearted people who will always do their best to help you, always cheers me up. The positive environment being under the roof of a historic building always makes for a welcome stroll to add all the delicious food vendors is was makes the St. Lawrence Market so special. It's truly the perfect package and a must visit for any traveler or food lover. The food is always freaking incredible! you cannot go wrong with any vendor!!!Visiting with my fiance was the highlight of our weekend and something We anxiously awaited for every week. We've made some friends with the local vendors and had the most fun visiting them, seeing what's new on their menus, walking in the market grabbing the ingredients for a fresh breakfast as well as what we'd need for our dinner creation we'd be enjoying that night. We lived as if we were in Europe, grabbing the freshest food from local farmers, engaging in warm conversations and sharing smiles with the women and people I love the most, Canadians!!!!!!

We got married here and had the most incredible experience! Glynnis was so kind and accommodating. The bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous - it's a dream come true to be able to get ready here. Every spot in the castle and garden is picturesque and we had some great memories looking through our photos. This also turned out to be a great experience for our out-of-town guests, who get to tour the castle in between the ceremony and reception and many told us later how much they enjoyed it. Would truly recommend it!

While we didn't take advantage of the audio-guided tour, we still very much enjoyed our experience. The castle is full of little plaques everywhere that you can read and learn about the history of Casa Loma. The first couple of floors are of the family's living chambers, the third celebrates the family's involvement in Canada's militia and military. The gardens were vibrant and well kept though a lot of the space is dedicated to the restaurant in the back. Well worth the experience to explore one of Toronto's beautiful historical landmarks.

It is a big palace built for the residence of the then Commanding Officer of the military regiment. It has 98 big and small rooms , well laid out surrounding gardens , a big library , beautiful wooden carvings lining the walls , mosaic type glass ceilings, etc.The palace is built with ancient architectural style, tall towers from where one can see the far off surrounding landscape. Toronto's city line can also be seen.A part of the palace is dedicated to a military museum.One can take 4 / 5 hours for complete tour of the palace.A small food outlet is there in the ground floor.Worth a visit.

Stunning views of the city and lots to see in this one-of-kind castle. The self-guided audio tour was surprisingly interesting. I’d bring your own Clorox wipe though as we wiped ours again just in case and it was filthy despite it being wiped down already by the staff. There are a ton of stairs so wear something comfortable. If you visit during the summer, be prepared to sweat a lot. Most rooms did not have air-conditioning (of course, given the age of the building). Because of that, I’d recommend going early in the morning or later in the evening when it isn’t as hot.The majority of rooms in the castle are quite well-maintained to be an accurate representation of what it was like back in the day. Some parts of the castle though, they’ve clearly made some changes which makes it feel a little less authentic. For instance, there are some decorations left up from their escape room series which takes you out of the time period of the castle. But all in all, I would still recommend a visit at least once in your life! It is a stunning piece of architecture in the middle of a big city!

This was a great experience... very cool castle estate. Gardens were cool. Historical write-ups for the rooms, a horse stable, antique car museum, and a Back Stage Celebrities walk, which has little scenes with (wax?) statues and clips playing for all of the movies that were recorded at the castle. Loved it! I wasn't quite as excited about the 3rd floor, but if you are into military history, you would love it. Getting up to the tower was awesome, too.

Great place to visit for locals and tourists. Lookout for annual events which are always so well organized in my experience. Even better are special one-time events such as their Lord of the Rings Exhibit so many moons ago. That was so creative and dreamy I will never forget it. I also went to one of their Dracula theatre shows for my birthday one year and it was so much fun! BTW Legends of Horror is not for the faint of heart!

This place was awesome! My friends and I went on a Sunday and although it was busy we never felt rushed. There is so much to see, and so many little passageways that it never feels uninteresting. The documentary was actually super informative so I highly recommend that. It's held in what was to be the indoor pool. The tunnel to the stables was really neat because they were playing 20s jazz throughout which gave it a really cool atmosphere. We spent hours here and it still didn't feel like long enough. Highly recommended.

I’ve come to Casa Loma for many events. My favourite has to be high tea. You get to roam the castle before hand and then sit for tea. The finger foods were a wide range which is great. Desserts were also a wide variety, but the best part is more desserts were handed out and your able to chose from them all. There was also a harpist, and she played the violin if it was your birthday! So nice.

Beautiful place. Nice people, playing different Christmas personalities. Very good music, friendly staff. Some good dancing, great Fireman show. Good food, and especially spicy drinks. Recommend to go there. Maybe I will go second time.This post is not about Casa Loma itself,but only about the Christmas celebration in this place.

Free membership under for people under 25!! Definitely a place to go and make some core memories with your friends while exploring the amazing exhibits. Be sure to check out the Group of 7 exhibit which is a fantastic history lesson for anybody with a Canadian passport. More importantly, the AGO has the best indigenous art exhibit I have ever seen in the world. Especially the use of multi-media art is mind-blowing. A must-do in Toronto!

Very enjoyable afternoon. Large open spaces with gorgeous works of art displayed in a way which allows one to walk and view at a pace you set yourself. Guided tours are available for those who enjoy hearing the history and stories behind the painting and/or artist. Lots of seating available for times you wish to linger and study the art, or if you need a rest.

AGO is amazing! If you like museums I recommend you to buy the annual pass and come back in different days. I only could see two exhibitions and I was tired already (after walking throughout the city). The shop has a lot of cool things and local artists' prints. They also have a bistro, and a couple of tables outsides.

Went for the first time on free night Wednesdays. It was really nice! I am not an art person, but it was fun just wandering about and I got my steps in. There are cool, overpriced, nifty items in the gift shop that I recommend checking out. I only say that you do so at your own risk. The only thing I wish was better might be ventilation because there were rooms that got pretty hot with all the people in it.

Inexpensive way to spend the day.Great for all ages with a variety of are exhibits showcasing all different kinds of Art forms usually and usually has some sort of special exhibit or theme. Extremely fun for families, groups or if you as one individual just want to escape the chaos of lineups, congestion, the traffic of our overpopulated infrastructure this is the place that avoids all of those. I highly recommend the ago to anyone who can really enjoy insightful learning, beauty of our (Mans) history and creativity. Beautifully bliss for the mind, eye and spirit. Have fun!

This was my first visit to the AGO. The staff were extremely helpful. It was easy to navigate, with both stairs and elevators available. They also had places to sit in several of the rooms, which was appreciated. Everything was well-labelled, often with info about the artist, the artwork, and/or the historical/cultural context of the piece. They also have an entire section for indigenous art and the notes throughout the gallery were displayed in English, French, and indigenous languages. I will definitely be back again.

Long line but breezed through it fast! Very Welcoming staff. It was good to see them outside making sure everyone knew it would be fast and checking tickets, ensuring safety. The Caribbean exhibit was not what I expected. I was a bit disappointed on the flow and vibe. I was expecting more authentic art from islanders; some culture and history. There is so much creativity when I am in the islands but didn’t feel that. The steel pan Drums where awesome. I wanted to dance. The huge floor was available to dance socially distant. Some areas got a bit crowded and needed staff for control. The Boats downstairs was amazing to see with the details on a miniature scale it must have seemed tedious but worth it. Beautifully displayed and on the way to the bathroom so no one would miss it. Great location. Parking is in front and can be used down the street to go to a neighbourhood restaurant after.

If you are under 25, you can get in for free! Remember, you have to book the tickets online prior to your visit. The staff were super friendly, and there were so many themes to discover. Let alone the cool architecture of the gallery. Personally, I don't have much interest in art, but I still enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Perfect place to go out with your friends.

Guinness World Records has called the tourist attraction “the world’s tallest self-supporting tower” and “the world’s tallest free-standing tower. You know that the CN Tower is the center of telecommunications for Toronto, serving more than 17 Canadian television and FM radio stations. Anyone can reach this tourist attraction by taking a 3-min walk from the Rogers Centre.

The CN Tower consists of several substructures. The main portion of the tower is a hollow concrete hexagonal pillar containing the stairwells and power and plumbing connections. The tower’s six elevators are located in the three inverted angles created by the Tower’s hexagonal shape (two elevators per angle).

We got reservations, and it was a little disorienting to try and find the right place to enter, but once we did, it was a trip! Being at the top in the revolving restaurant is **the** way to enjoy the view, as it is completely unobstructed and you get a nice pan of the entire city. The staff is a notch above other restaurants, as they will be excited to help out with everything. Phillip was helpful in providing recommendations when we asked, mentioning some meals that might be preferable to others, and they were more than happy to take several photos of your table for you. The food is strong, but not the best, so the rather high cost is definitely just to cover for the inexpensive ticket price for a private view. The drinks, though, were excellent! We loved every one we ordered. We got the prix fixe menu, with most of us picking the 3 courses. It ended up taking us more than 2 hours to get seated, order, get food, and finish with all three courses, but they did not kick us out early despite the warning of a 2 hour limit. It's quite clear they love having guests enjoy their time, but you can't treat it as a lounge. We also went to the deck below afterwards, but that was much more crowded and only worth it to see the glass floor, and getting crammed into a TIGHT elevator (during a pandemic!) to get to the bottom level was not cool. Ultimately, the experience was great for the few hours inside of the tower, although I wouldn't mind if they boosted either the experience immediately before or after, or the quality of the food to match the costs, but I definitely wasn't mad for doing it and would be glad to do it again!

We had a perfect day to view from the Tower with out of town family. Great staff that were very animated, greeted us and took us to our table. We had an excellent waiter who explained the menu. We ordered and here is where everything fell apart.Two of us had mushroom chowder. Cute way of serving it, but it was only warm.My husband had fish that was overcooked and dry - even from across the table!Guest one, had tofu with salad. The tofu was overcooked.Guest two, had noodles that needed more sauce and served warm not hot.All in all a disappointing meal that was not nearly worth the $$. Too bad, as this restaurant is so beautifully laid out and tourist friendly. I wish it was more suitable for tourists, but they will leave with a crazy feeling that Canadians,like lukewarm food, overcooked and expensive. So totally wrong!!!

Customer service and table service here is really amazing, everyone was very courteous. The gnocchi appetizer was a stand out and I highly recommend it. I found the lobster to be a little over cooked but the server and manager offered to swap it out with something else immediately. We were celebrating our anniversary here and everyone was very nice and acknowledged our celebration. I recommend the prefixed menu! Wine list is 99% Canadian but well curated with many options. Thank you for an amazing evening. CN tower staff out side of restaurant were very excellent.

Went to the 360 restaurant and the food was absolutely spectacular. They catered really well to vegetarians and non alcoholics too upon request. Definitely get a seat by the window if you can. The views around sunset and night time are just breathtaking and the food with it is just as good. I do want to call our how courteous and flawless the service was too. The servers were always agile and quick on their feet, ready to help answer any questions you may have and also recommend some great suggestions

The pride and joy of Toronto. Seen from miles around and an awesome view from above, this is a must stop of for all tourists. Being born and raised here, I have been up a handful of times and always enjoy it. The restaurant is nice. Make reservations way in advance and try to time it during a sunset if possible. You won't regret it.

I have been up in the tower a lot of times. However, this was the first time for my kids. If I hadn't been up there so many times, I would give it 5 stars.It is a bit pricey just to go to the top, but what a view!I would strongly suggest that if you plan on having dinner downtown, just do it at the top of the tower; combine the dining experience/ride to the top. The food is great and it's cheaper (depending on where you planned to eat) than dinner separately plus the cost of going to the top, since the ride to the top is included with your dining experience. And it is a great experience with great food!The kids loved it! Will take them up again!

There’s a lot to see, and that itself is amazing since there is so many different exhibits. It definitely has a very fascinating overall design of the building and many cool pieces within.I would strongly recommend going with a tour or someone who is very knowledgeable with the artifacts there so they can explain additional details to at might be more interesting. Some of the exhibits were not as exciting as others since I couldn’t really see the importance of it, but others that I knew the history to were more interesting to me. I guess having someone there to tell you it’s importance would make your trip here an awesome visit.

Always kind of busy, but that's expected in Toronto. McDonald's right across the street for cheap eats. Super clean and always a brilliant place to be for the day. Enjoyed many of the exhibits. The whale section was EXTRAORDINARY. Love the ROM and will be watching for new exciting exhibits in the future. Hopefully, more dinosaur ones with the new dinosaur found. The gift shops seemed to be lacking variety is my only complaint, was able to find some cool fundraising metal straws I highly recommend.

It is absolutely amazing, you can spend a whole day in the museum. It has different sections of historical ages from all over the world. You can see many things from different civilizations. I loved the geology part. You can find brilliant minerals and stones. It is one of the best museum I have ever seen. Highly recommended to visit.

Edit 20220621: We visited for the 3rd Tuesday of the month for free night. It was busy. Many more of the interactive stations were available now. Took the entire family here and they enjoyed it.They just re-opened for Stage 3. This is my experience. Tickets need to be purchased in advance and at slotted for different times. We arrived 30 minutes after our slated time slot and there were no issues. They scan the tickets (if you bought more than one) and you're free to enter. Masks are required and must be worn inside at all times. The popular exhibits, there are more people. The dinosaurs and the China exhibit. Each exhibit had one way markings on the floor. For the busier exhibits people generally follow the rules. For the not busier ones, there's generally no one around anyway. Most (if not all) of the interactive displays have been turned off. Any exhibits that allow patrons to touch the exhibits are now touch prohibited. As a result, for our 4 year old daughter, she was bored. She enjoyed looking at the dinosaur skeletons, but after that there was nothing for her that held her interest. There was a section where she was banging on a steel chair, but that wasn't an exhibit. After 1 hour, she asked us if we could go home. So we did. Overall, the trip was good. If you have younger kids, probably better to wait until they are older as they will lose interest especially if there is nothing to do but look at stuff with no touching.

Loved the overall experience at the ROM. Spent 3-4 hours there. There were only two things. First: I wish some exhibits were better curated. Definitely had quite a few moments that made me go "what is this item, where is the description, oh the description doesn't tell me anything, I have to google it". Second: The China exhibit got a little tone deaf at times.I did pay extra to get into the great whale special exhibit and I would say it was very worth it. It was the right combination of being informative and interesting.Would definitely try to go again during off peak hours and when they have new special exhibits.

We had a great experience at the ROM taking our 5 year-old for the first time! We took advantage of a promotion in March and were able to purchase advance tickets at a discounted “distance” rate because we were travelling from out of town!The exhibits were great, we also checked out the special Whale showcase. Food was available on site which was the only aspect that had a small wait time. Otherwise, it was a wonderful day, we felt safe and secure, and we got to see so many cool artifacts and exhibits! 🦕🦖
